Banquet Terms

All reservations are considered tentative until the full deposit, signed contract, and signed banquet terms and policies have been received and accepted by the Dearborn Hills Golf Course. (D.H.G.C.)

A deposit of $600.00 is required to confirm any Friday or Saturday evening. A $400.00 deposit is required to confirm all other days. We are sorry, however once events are scheduled, all deposits are non-refundable. Deposit payments must be made 90 and 60 days from
your event to maintain your reservation.

During peak booking dates, minimum food and beverage charges may apply. There is a standard room rental fee that may be waived when
minimum food and beverage service is reached. Minimums for a _______________________ are ______________with_________ or more
people. If the minimums are not reached by actual counts the above fees will be charged.

An estimated attendance figure is to be provided at the time the event is scheduled. A final minimum guarantee of attendance must be provided 10-12 days prior to the event and once received may not be reduced. Additionally, menu selections must be finalized at this time. The final number is the minimum that will be charged even if fewer guest attend. However, if more guests attend, additional charges will be applied for the number actually served. Food service for the bands, D.J.’s, and or photographer is to be included in the final attendance figure. We are prepared to serve 2% over the minimum attendance figure, but reserve the right to serve a different entrée to the guests that are over the minimum count.

NO food or beverage (including alcoholic beverages) of any kind will be permitted to be brought into D.H.G.C. by clients and /or guest, with
the exception of wedding cakes and /or bakery items of religious significance.

No food or beverages will be allowed to be removed from the premises, with the exception of wedding cakes and/or specialty bakery items.

Meal service must begin at contracted meal time in order to maintain quality and temperature. If meal service is late by over 30 minutes or
more, a fee of $1.50 per person will be charged. No late guests will be served once dessert service has commenced.

As a licensee of the state alcohol beverage control authority D.H.G.C. strictly adheres to all laws and regulations pertaining to the service and
sale of alcoholic beverages.

We may require I.D. for those patrons look under the age of 30.

NO sales will be made to minors or intoxicated persons.

Management reserves the right to refuse service of alcoholic beverages to anyone appearing intoxicated and to close the bar at its discretion.

Open bars do not include the service of shots and/or pitchers of beer.

NO cash bar sales will be made after an open bar event.

All bars to close by 11:30pm.

All outside vendors must be set up completely 1 hour prior to event start time.

Florist, Bakeries, Decorators and D.J.’s must co-ordinate their set-up start time with D.H.G.C. staff.

Chair covers must be contracted through D.H.G.C. NO outside chair cover vendors are allowed.

Chocolate fountains require a $250.00 deposit of which $100.00 will be returned if area is left clean.

D.J.’s must adhere to D.H.G.C. rules and regulations.

D.H.G.C. maintains a smoke free environment. An outdoor smoking area is provided.

D.H.G.C. neither accepts nor assumes any liability for theft or any other loss of personal property occurring either prior to, during, or after the event.

Entertainment must stop at midnight.

No fog or smoke machines are allowed.

All table centerpieces, and decorations must meet all fire safety codes and regulations. All candles must be enclosed. No more then one center candle and four votive candles are allowed per table due to fire safety issues.

D.H.G.C. does not allow anything to be affixed to the walls, ceiling, furniture, fixtures, furnishings or any other property. Failure to comply with the policy will result in an additional charge for the cost of repairs and/or replacement of damaged property. Removal of all decorations
is the client’s responsibility.

Throwing or use of tinsel, rice, confetti, or glitter is not allowed in the building or outside
(clean-up charge $75.00 half room/$150.00 full room).

If D.H.G.C. is unable to perform its obligations under this agreement for any reason beyond its control, including but not limited to strikes, labor disputes, accident, government restrictions or regulations on commodities or supplies, acts of war or acts of god such as but not limited to storms, flooding, power outages, or inclement weather, such non-performance will be excused and D.H.G.C. will not be liable for any consequential damages of any nature, and any monies or deposits will be returned in full.
